Good news, Everyone! Summit has released the starring cast for “Remember Me”, who will join Rob Pattinson in this movie penned by Jenny Lumet (daughter of Sidney).
Pierce Brosnan has been confirmed to play Rob (Tyler Roth)’s father in the film. Multiple award-winner (including an Oscar) Chris Cooper will play Emilie de Ravin’s father. Emilie will take the role of Tyler’s girlfriend.
Lena Olin is in talks to join the cast.
The premise of the story is that Tyler is stunned with his brother’s suicide, which has split his parents. He finds Emilie’s character has also gone through a similar tragedy (her mother) but is reacting in a completely different way.
I am thrilled that Rob will be able to act opposite an extremely talented cast (especially Cooper!).

BritDee, Sorry!!! I didn’t realize the Emilie chick is the actress. Obviously I don’t keep up with all of the actors and actresses that are out there. I usually notice a movie when it comes from a book I’ve read and then only notice the actor and/or actress playing the parts I liked in the book.

i can see those solemn britdee eyes start to sparkle with glee at all the glorious possibilities!!!
so jenny lumet has written “remember me”….talent abounds all around!!! ..have you mentioned director…..
emilie de ravin…certainly does seem to have an eclectic resume thus far… a most interesting possibility for your boy to play opposite..ay?

it’s so funny…i always check over here to see what’s going on and this is the very first time i actually noticed that it is entitled “all about movies”…..since i am almost o.d.ing on twilight/nm……i thought maybe i would see if any of you might like my partial classic movie collection……i have been fascinated by period pieces and classics for quite awhile…..to name a few….
“pride & prejudice”….the keira knightley, matthew macfadyen one basically because i adore both actors……i think these two are on fire together as elizabeth bennet and mr. dancy…the idea of a great love story, a brilliant supporting cast and beautiful cinematography make for such an extraordinarily satisfying treat for my senses…..
i enjoy the same pleasure when i watch jane austen….sense & sensibility…i chose the janet mc teer, hattie morahan, charity wakefield, david morrissey adaptation…this being my favorite by far…..miss austen regrets…who would not adore olivia williams….such tragic fair yet so lovely genteel with sweeping musical score…
charlotte bronte’s jane eyre…haunts me in every way from the beautiful portrayal of jane by the fascinating ruth wilson….i can’t take my eyes off this girl….to the strange heroic empassioned performance of toby stephens as mr. rochester…
emily brontes wuthering heights…..the tom hardy, charlotte riley version…..o.k….mostly cause of tom hardy…..so deliciously dark and foreboding, larger than life…….epic…..
i next migrated directly to charles dickens..oliver twist..the tom hardy connection!!! i love this…..not the musical version…tom’s bill sikes is disgustingly over the top evil and yet to be pitied…. the entire ensemble being excellent, memorable as well as sympathetic….
charles dickens again….great expectations….the criterion
collection…digitally transferred….young pip,grown pip, magwitch, miss havisham and estella are all dear to my heart……i tend to refer to the state of miss havisham’s birthay party room alot!!!!
lastly i mention a most wonderful BBC production called manor house..a absolutely fascinating look into what edwardian class system in early 1900 england would be like………it is likened to another of my favorites called gosford park, starring helen mirren…..a robert altman film…….i loved robert altman…..anyway…..this being a modern day experiment…putting contemporary individuals in the place of early household staff and entitled family…. all set in a magnificant country mansion…..
nell……mine may not fill your 10 movie list…..but these be some near and dear to old bittersweet……i hope you will look um up!

Have any of you seen the pictures of the female fans attacking Rob in NYC? He looks like he’s being choked to death! Obviously the poor guy can no longer walk down the street, even when it’s being filmed.

Hi, Everyone. Sorry for my silence but I’ve just been crazed.
An urgent call was made to Summit to give Rob more protection. He needs a bodyguard full-time.
It bothers me like you have no idea because I worked with a big (literally and figuratively) celebrity and he had the BEST bodyguard in the business. He always prevented things from happening by being pro-active. In all our years of touring, we only had two very minor incidents. So, I hope that Summit got the message that Rob needs someone to anticipate things and prevent Rob from being in harms way from fans and papz.
There is no safe way for Rob to live other than to have a SUPERIOR bodyguard.
Thanks for your concern. I embrace it.

i was just wondering if anyone here is planning on adding the limited edition “the sexy stars of twilight” magazine to your twi collections?…….i’m kinda torn cause i know it’s just another money making gimmick…..but on the other hand…..it might be a really nice new shiny toy to have!
BTW……has anyone seen any new merchandise for NM yet…other than the t-shirt? i’m thinking…..wouldn’t it be cool to have a license plate cover?

I have decided not to get it because I really don’t need it. I got the directors cut Twilight and I was very dispointed in it. I liked the commentary on the DVD much better.
I’m sure if your undecided you could wait for it to come out and preview it on the magizine stands and decide if you really want it. Just a thought.
I haven’t seen any other new moon items in my area besides the ones you have mentioned.

yes. i tend to agree….sometimes….alot of the time one tends to get caught up in all the hoopla and fun of it all!!……
for twilight…i was very selective…..the DVD…of course….and i went really far out of my way to find a keychain that ONLY said “twilight” on it…..most outlets had the one with the cullen family image…..in fact….i hope that “they” will do the same and have a keychain with just the “new moon” name on it…..i’m sorry but i totally object to the new moon poster image!…hate it!!!….
i like your logical suggestion of hanging around my favorite book section and checking out the limited edition fan mag…..i hope they don’t mind if i drowl all over a copy and don’t buy it…LOL
what do you ladies think about the latest screenwriter…totally a conflict of screenwriters..lol…..anyway…she seems capable enough….any writer who worked on dexter is a winner in bittersweet’s book!..i like her style and i hope she brings a similar flavor to NM….no?
